Great weekend! After a Friday of wallowing in my own pity... Saturday was very productive!!! Business meeting went well then 7 hours of beers drinking, joke telling, crazy dancing fun!!!! It was a blast and just what i needed!!! Then to top it all off.. i went to lunch with a very nice man.. and it lasted 4 hrs.. yes.. 4 hrs...!!! we talked about all things under the sun except sex! go figure.. !!! we may be going to a nudist resort soon..hehehe..then an awesome dinner with with my home girl.. lots of laughter.. as always.. thennnnnnnnn this guy who is cooking me dinner tmrw brought me lunch for tmrw..yep.. ! Im in PIMP mode.. :) On a natural high! Donald who.. (ok im trippin), but it definitely helps to have distractions!!!!!!!

Well well well.. look who decided to show up! Yep.. while I have been thinking about blogging, it actually hasnt come to fruition.. nonetheless.. life has been pretty busy with ups, downs and something in the middle. To much to catch up on but I will say that I am taking time away from the scene to reflect on life and it has been good thus far. I am rested and my pockets arent as empty. I am also meeting some really neat people whom are in the same vain as myself. But I got to get to church.. Lord, help me.. why am I dragging my feet????? N E WHO...met a new guy.. yep new guy.."MR SC" he ran, now he back. Kinda confused. Him and me. My focus now adays seem to be money and men (relationships).. is that what 30's somethings get to look forward too? IJS. Well, just wanted to pop in since it was on my brain.. i have to go see about the new property and how things are progressing with that!

Yaay... ME!

Ok.. so yep.. GRAND SLAM!!! Event kicked ass!!! I am grateful for the support of wonderful colleagues that assisted in making my program's Informational Brunch a success! I will not mention the charred catered quiche entre' that was lovingly carried in by the catering staff and then once we mentioned its charred look, they thoughtfully scraped the topped off. So yeah, they do not deserve to be mentioned. So yeah a quick run to Bojangles and 60 various Bojangles biscuits saved the day. And it was a smash!! Hot and fresh.. the biscuits and ME! Thanks for quick thinking colleagues!!!!! I was so excited that i was slightly sick after it was all said and done.. But then my Boo treated me to some tender love n care.. and how sweet it is..!

Thank You God for your continuous love and guidance.  I know I will continue to succeed with GOD on my side.

Lots have been going on with me, but too much to write about.. hence, why writing daily is sooo important.. So most majorly is we are closer to signing the lease for our freestanding building.. YAHH! I am really proud of myself for identifying areas of concerns and initiating contacting the real estate commission. Go me, for acknowledging that I dont know everything, but somebody else does!!! It was also a big coup that the landlord agreed to most of our terms..Tmrw is another big day for me.. I will be presenting my program to about 40-50 ppl..jeepers creepers! Stay tuned for that, i must go now and review my welcome/closing speech!!

Oh yea.. 2 days in the gym..Hard in da paint! If I can get 2 more days in, Im G2G!

Ok, so today started out with 2 cups of decaf coffee-I was tricked! shoulda figured this would be how the day went.. $1000 loss of revenue at work..kinda beat myself up but i can appreciate the importance of improved systems. I asked my self, once IHC is fully operating, would this matter? Heck yeah it would! So, i am going to humbly accept whatever is forth coming.. but I have a new system in place, so hopefully that "softens the blow".. so that was my excuse for eating 3 pieces of chocolate and binging on tuna and tortillas. not terrible, but totally not what i planned for dinner.

Spending a lil time with Infiniti, my CockerSpaniel, cheered me up, as always. And I found a yummy recipe that I am going to make for my Boo - chicken fried steak.. thanks Bobby Flay!

So, I finally sit down to get back on track with the business plan.. but guess what?! the damn file is trippin, so "hi ho hi ho back to work I go"..

OK, YEAH NO.

OMG! So im so happy..! So the big political event consisted of me being a room filler.. (they clearly dont know me!) Nonetheless, it was a buzz kill and the free food consisted of coffee - only. damn i was starving, but in the vain of spending more conservatively, I ate canned soup.

Great work out.. I confess.. I am a Step Aerobics junkie.. it frees my mind and because I am so focused on not busting my butt, I am forced to delete and/or put on hold all other thoughts..

This evening I tried to give this chick a heads up abt a dude that is trying to holla at me (just n case he was tryng to holla at her), and she kinda caught a tude.. Biotch! I was only trying to look out for another female. Whatever.. she probably mad because he hasnt tried to holla at her..hehe..

Gonna change the name of my Blog from K&V to infinitelyMe.I think thats a better fit. But definitely K & V escapades will be present:)

Couch - Gym - Couch

I had every intention of going to the Harvey B Gannt museum, but was riding high from snugglin with my boo. deep sigh.. But I did make to the gym..Yah!! Gotta lose 5 lbs by Feb 12.. got this banging dress!!! hot mama! Now im straight chillaxin and ready to hit the grind tomorrow.. big event in the morning with some political folk, "watch me work!" Oh yeah and free food..!

Reflections of the weekend..

So on Friday, I had to have a tough conversation with the man in my life .. "progress forward or discontinue"..so needless to say, my Friday was starting to suck because he was not budging! But then,  my bestie and I viewed the location for our mental health agency and it was awesome! I didnt even mind walking (but more slipping and sliding) through the damn snow with my 3 inch boots.. It has all the space we will need and then some and the price is just right.. Thank you GOD!

Saturday morning was awesome to! Volunteered with the children at the Salvation Army women's shelter. On my way to volunteer site, I talked to my dude..it was a great conversation and he had a ball laughing at me because i brought a 11 x 18 coloring book with no crayons and checkers! go figure..guess it was obvious that i dont have children.. but i put in a great effort. :) It was a free feel good!

Saturday day was spent with the friends tailgating and I made my famous chili! Yeah, I look good and I can burn baby burn!  The spot was hot except i had to check my friend because her uninvited ghetto boyfriend decided he wanted to crash the spot. No mam! So needless to say, they both left and i was left to continue the good times while sippin and 2-steppin.

Saturday night we all went to 5th Element and had a blast! I will not mention the fight that happened while waiting in VIP. hated it!

Sunday was recovery for sure! Had a break through with my Boo..yep, he is my exclusive Boo now. Not sure what that means or how we are going to define it. But i know I will take it one day at a time and keep negative input from others to a minimum.Why? Cuz its my life. IJS.
Sunday night was topped off with hanging with Bestie and K in the VIP of a new spot in Charlotte, Marigny. The service was awesome! The waitress actually made every single drink, even though we could have simply reached over and poured the bottle ourselves.. VIP looks good on me!

Then snuggling with my Boo! Cherry on the top!
